Opportunity to Acquire an Interactive Display Cards Business [2 Sep 2011]
A pioneer in the emerging market of Powered Cards - interactive payment cards that feature battery-powered electronic circuits, keypads and displays - is looking for an investor or a buyer for their business that develops and manufactures high-end electronic modules for interactive display cards based on in-house patented technologies.
Interactive Display Cards, which are considered to be the future of the payment card industry, will not only significantly enhance banking security but will accommodate a wide range of functions suited for extending remote banking applications, at lower costs, enabling the cardholder to personally activate various functions on the card.
With an interest to focus on other businesses and divert the interactive powered smart card activity into a new company, the parent company is creating an opportunity for investors to make an equity investment into the new company or purchase the well-established technology. As a complete package, the company is offering a fully developed interactive display card platform with propriety in-house technology, IP, subcontractor manufacturing, card laminator partners and an experienced team familiar with the key players in the market.
